Valentina Nakic

Valentina is a 2nd year Sustainable Development (Earth Systems Governance track, Sustainable Business & Innovation annotation) master's student within the Copernicus Institute for Sustainable Development of Utrecht University. She earned her B.Sc. in Evolutionary Anthropology, with minors in Environmental Toxicology and Biology from University of California, Davis. Her master's thesis research (April 2018-December 2018) aims to investigate feasible and sustainable governance arrangements for an sustainable transition towards a blockchain-enabled peer-to-peer energy trading system. With Joost Veroort as her supervisor, her methodology will primarily consist of conducting participatory scenario design workshops with civil society, government, and market stakeholders.
