The Sustainability Game” is a UU-wide tailor-made BSc honours course where UU and HKU (Utrecht School of the Arts) students team up and learn how to make applied games that engage their players with sustainability themes.
In this context, Joost Vervoort, Karin Rebel, Astrid Mangnus and Margien Bootsma are organising a Game Jam in the second week of February - an intensive week in which multidisciplinary teams come together and very rapidly develop playable game prototypes.Come by and check out the process and the progress of the students. From past years we know that the results are often really impressive and of course also fun!
You're welcome to visit at any point in the week, but the best moment is probably Friday afternoon after 13:00, which is when the teams are finished developing and will be presenting their games to a jury. This is also the moment when you can test all the game prototypes! We hope to see many of you during the Game Jam!
If you have any questions about our course don't hesitate to send Astrid Mangnus an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
